It extracts them from the chamber just fine, but you have to pick them out of the extractor and spring on the opposite side of the bolt from the extractor.ĭoes anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I'm thinking maybe weak spring in the magazine that doesn't allow for enough upward pressure to the extracted casing. The problem I did find with this gun is that the shells won't 'flip' off of the bolt. They just sort of lay in there and you need to hold them down when closing the bolt. I'm not familiar with all the models of all the gun makers so when you said "new" I was thinking it was brand spankin, never fired. A clean and lube won't hurt and will make me feel better about shooting it. Although new to me, this D was made in or It looks good enough on the outside, but you never know what you'll find inside a 67 year old bolt.
